Description

We are currently hiring for a full-time first shift CNA-M, on our very special Long-term Care Village, Eagles Landing.

What work at MVH – Augusta?

  • Best staff-to-resident ratio and home-like setting

  • Ceiling lifts to transfer residents from the bed to the bathroom
  • Up to $26.26 per hour base rate for CNA-Ms, based on experience
  • $2.50 weekend differential

138 private rooms are divided into household communities of about 12 individuals. Features include wireless internet access, flat-screen TVs, wireless call systems, and much more. Each household features a comfortable living room, dining room, den, fireplace, and large kitchen. Open floor plans eliminate long hallways as every room opens up to a common space, promoting connectivity and community. All finishes are warm and residential and look more like someone’s home rather than your traditional nursing facility.

The primary purpose of the CNA-M is to assist in the administering of medications to residents as ordered by the attending physician under the direction of the Charge Nurse. Works as CNA as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be listed as an active CNA on the State of Maine Registry of Certified Nursing Assistants and approved Medication Technician program on the State of Maine Registry.
  • Experience in Long-Term Care desirable.
  • Requires proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • Ability to understand and respond to residents’ needs and inquiries in English is required.
  • Ability to effectively understand and communicate verbally and in writing, in English, is required.
  • Basic computer skills
