Job summary

Wellmore of Daniel Island is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to deliver person-centered care to our residents. The role focuses on daily living activities, vital signs, dining assistance, and maintaining residents' dignity and quality of life.

You will work with a supportive team in a culture that values growth, collaboration, and dedicated service. State CNA certification and CPR/First Aid are required, with prior healthcare experience preferred.

Qualifications

• State Certification as a Nursing Assistant.
• Certification in CPR, AED, and First Aid.
• Two years' experience in a similar healthcare position preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, transporting, and transfers.
• Assist residents with dining: escorting, transferring, taking orders, serving, feeding, meal prep, and cleanup.
• Assist with housekeeping: bed making, trash removal, laundry, room and bathroom cleaning, and resident requests.
• Lead and assist with life enrichment activities with Life Enrichment Leaders and Supervisors.
• Escort residents to programming; participate in outings and day trips as needed.
• Take and record vital signs and weights as ordered or required by regulations.
• Participate in in-service training and education programs; perform other duties as assigned.
