Virginia Gay Hospital in Vinton, IA is seeking a dedicated CNA for a Long Term Care unit on the 1st shift, Monday through Friday. You will assist with basic nursing care under RN/LPN supervision, support residents with daily activities, and help maintain safety and comfort in a small-town community hospital setting.
Requirements include an active CNA certification or enrollment in a CNA program, with certification expected within 120 days, and a current BCLS.

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) has been designed to assist in the delivery of basic nursing care to residents under the direct supervision of an RN/LPN.

Current CNA certification or enrolled in an approved certification CNA program. Must become certified within 120 days of first day of employment. No C.N.A will be allowed to work independently until they are active on the Direct Care Worker Registry.
At least 16 years of age and attending High School, High School graduate or GED equivalent.
Maintains current BCLS certification. Previous CNA experience preferred, but not required
