Job summary

Logan Health Conrad is seeking a CNA to provide basic nursing care under supervision, maintaining patient privacy and safety. You will support daily living activities, document care, and coordinate with leadership to manage patient priorities across shifts.

Requirements include Montana CNA certification, RQI/BLS within 7 days, a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record. Previous healthcare experience is preferred, and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Current Montana CNA certificate required.
• RQI Provider (BLS) within 7 days of hire/transfer or before independent patient care.
• Previous work experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Understanding of HIPAA and confidentiality guidelines.
• Current Driver’s License required.
• Driving record for the last 36 months must be clear of major offenses.

Responsibilities

• Delivers and assists in delivery of basic patient care under supervision.

• Performs accurate CNA assessment while taking patient vital signs.
• Notifies appropriate stakeholders of abnormal vitals or changes per protocol.

• Maintains inventory and room supplies; keeps equipment clean and safe.
• Supports compliance with Medicare and applicable regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Current Montana Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certificate required.
• RQI Provider (BLS) within 7 days of hire/transfer or before independent patient care, whichever comes first.
• Previous work experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Possess an understanding of the confidentiality laws that govern the provider-patient relationship, including but not limited to HIPAA guidelines.
• Current Driver’s License required.
• Driving record for the previous thirty-six (36) months must not reflect any major driving offenses (i.e; DUI, convicted of a felony involving a motor vehicle, suspended license, three (3) or more speeding tickets or other moving violations, etc.).
• Personal vehicles used for LH business: State law minimum liability coverage limits required.

Job Specific Duties

• Performs accurate CNA assessment while taking patient’s vital signs.
• Informs appropriate stakeholders of any abnormal vital signs and/or changes in the patient’s condition, per department protocol and as applicable to assigned area(s).
• Maintains patient privacy as defined by Logan Health policies and procedures.
• Assists patient with activities of daily living as applicable to assigned area(s).
• Accurately and timely documents the care rendered to the patient as defined by department procedure and as applicable to assigned area(s).
• Assists in maintaining function by maintaining inventory, restocking of rooms, supply areas, maintains equipment for safety and cleanliness, as applicable to assigned area(s).
• Assists with maintaining compliance with Medicare and all applicable regulatory standards.
• Works with appropriate stakeholders to set and maintain priorities for patient care tasks.
• Assists in administrative duties and day-to-day operations per department procedure and as applicable to assigned area(s).
• Promotes a safe and therapeutic environment for the patient, provides personal care per department procedure and as applicable to assigned area(s).

Shift: Variable (United States of America) Schedule: Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
