Job summary

Logan Health in Kalispell, MT is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our night shift team. You will provide basic patient care under supervision, assist with activities of daily living, and help maintain a safe and compassionate environment.

The role requires an MT CNA certificate, BLS, and a valid driver’s license for certain duties. Successful candidates demonstrate empathy, reliability, and strong teamwork while protecting patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Current Montana CNA certificate required.
• RQI Provider (BLS) within 7 days of hire or before independent patient care.
• Home Health Aide certification preferred or must obtain within six months of hire.
• Understanding of HIPAA confidentiality guidelines.
• Valid driver’s license required for the Driver portion of the position.

Responsibilities

Informs appropriate stakeholders of any abnormal vital signs and/or changes in the patient’s condition, per department protocol and as applicable to assigned area(s).* Maintains patient privacy as defined by Logan Health policies and procedures.* Assists patient with activities of daily living as applicable to assigned area(s).* Accurately and timely documents the care rendered to the patient as defined by department procedure and as applicable to assigned area(s).* Assists in maintaining function by maintaining inventory, restocking of rooms, supply areas, maintains equipment for safety and cleanliness, as applicable to assigned area(s).* Assists with maintaining compliance with Medicare and all applicable regulatory standards.* Works with appropriate stakeholders to set and maintain priorities for patient care tasks.* Assists in administrative duties and day-to-day operations per department procedure and as applicable to assigned area(s).* Promotes a safe and therapeutic environment for the patient, provides personal care per department procedure and as applicable to assigned area(s).The above essential functions are representative of major duties of positions in this job classification.
