Job summary

Good Samaritan in Miller, SD is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) to provide resident-centered care during day shifts on our 12-hour schedule. This full-time role offers 40 hours per week, a competitive hourly wage, and a $10,000 sign-on bonus eligible.

Under RN supervision, you will assist with daily living activities, transfers, meals, and documentation, while following infection prevention policies and contributing to a compassionate Christian environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age of 16.
• CNA certification with State Board of Nursing or in progress within four months.
• CNA training and certification provided by facility.
• 12 hours of continuing education required annually.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
• Assist with transfers, mobility and range of motion exercises.
• Assist residents with meals and dining; ensure a positive dining experience.
• Document care, observe changes, and communicate with the charge nurse.
• Support infection prevention policies and PPE use.
