Job summary

Delta-T Group's clients are seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to work in Newtown, CT and surrounding areas. This role offers up to $25/hour depending on location, shifts and schedule.

Responsibilities include grooming and bathing patients, assisting with meals and medications, monitoring vitals, aiding mobility, turning and exercising patients as needed in long-term care settings.

Qualifications

• Valid Nurse Aide Certification required.
• COVID-19 vaccination may be required by some sites.
• Ability to pass Child Abuse, FBI, and Criminal fingerprint background checks.

• Preparing each patient room with necessary items like blankets, pillows, medical equipment and bathroom needs.
• Helping patients eat and take medications.
• Making sure they have regular meals and proper medication dosages.
• Monitoring vitals and patient behavior and reporting them to the nursing and medical staff.
• Assisting patients with mobility needs, transferring them from wheelchair to bed.
• Turning or adjusting patients in bed to prevent bedsores or other discomfort.
• Exercising patients by helping them walk.

COMPENSATION FOR A CERTIFIED NURSING AIDE

Up to $25/hour depending on location, shifts and schedule.

• Experience and willingness to work in Long Term Care, nursing home facilities
• Committed to genuine nursing care while maintaining organization's mission and core values.

CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
