Job summary

Providence Seward Medical Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to support RN-led patient/resident care in a safe, clean environment. You will assist with daily tasks, communicate patient needs, and uphold high standards of hygiene and safety in a fast-paced setting.

Minimum qualifications include CNA certification, Alaska CNA license, and successful completion of required trainings within four months, plus BLS within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Coursework/training and successful completion of Caring Reliably, Culinary Training, ServSafe, and Dining Assistance within four months of hire.
• Coursework/training and completed training as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
• Upon hire: Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification License.
• Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN to maintain a safe, hazard-free, clean environment enabling patient-focused care.
• Support patient/resident needs, communicate with the nursing team, and carry out delegated duties.
• Help ensure a respectful, supportive care setting for patients, families, and staff.
