Job summary

CHI LakeWood Health in Baudette, MN seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide nursing care under physician or RN supervision in our long-term care setting.

You will assess patient needs, document diligently, and support families while coordinating with care teams. The role requires strong communication, organization, and teamwork in a diverse environment.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant role or plan to obtain CNA within six months.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize.
• Ability to maintain high accuracy when documenting cares.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to the assessment of the health status of patients.
• Perform administrative requirements, such as completing forms, charts, reports, etc., and submit these as may be required.
• Communicate patient information with care teams.
• Assist patients/families with meals or changing bed linens.
• Report any changes in a patient's condition to the Charge Nurse.
• Must work effectively and collaboratively in a diverse environment.

*Job Summary and Responsibilities*

As a CNA at CHI LakeWood Health, you will help our patients by providing nursing care to our Long Term Care (LTC) residents under the direction of the physician or registered nurse.

Every day you will work with our patients to evaluate their needs and provide physical or psychosocial care. To be successful in this role, you must have a genuine compassion for your patients’ well-being and understand the role you play in helping our our patients feel at ease. You also have the patience to explain the process, answer questions and update documentation.

To thrive in this role you will be organized and prioritize accordingly. You will demonstrate the ability to work independently; have strong written and verbal skills with the ability to engage others. Your leadership skills will allow you to handle conflicts resulting in a positive outcome.

*Pay Range*

$18.96 - $26.78 /hour
