Ecker d Connects in Laredo, TX is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) Instructor to deliver the CNA curriculum in a Job Corps classroom. You will promote a positive learning environment and tailor instruction to meet program requirements and student goals.

The position involves meeting SMART goals, counseling students on study habits, and coordinating with vocational counselors and instructors to support student success.

Qualifications

• Certified, licensed, or accredited in the state where the center is located.
• Background check and drug screen as required by policy.
• Willingness to pass nationwide background check.

Responsibilities

• Instruct CNA curriculum in accordance with Job Corps requirements.
• Create a positive classroom atmosphere to motivate learning.
• Meet SMART goals established by management each program year.
• Counsel and motivate students on behavior, study habits, and career goals.
• Individualize curriculum to fit student vocations and coordinate with counselors.
• Prepare reports on hours, requisitions, and evaluations.
• Collaborate with the BCL-WBL Coordinator on work-based learning goals.
• Attend monthly meetings with Career Counselors and coordinators.
