Position Overview

CommuniCare Health Services is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to serve as RN Staff Development Coordinator / CNA Instructor at Crestview Healthcare Center. This role is ideal for a Registered Nurse with a background in Long Term Care and a passion for education. Qualifications & Experience
  • Current RN license in the state of employment
  • Experience in healthcare settings preferred
  • Train The Trainer certification for CNA training
  • Experience in staff development and supervision in long-term care is desirable
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and conduct Nurse Aide training classes and testing, maintaining all documentation
  • Develop training materials, manuals, and resource libraries
  • Coordinate annual state-mandated staff training and inservicing
  • Participate in Quality Improvement meetings to address training needs
  • Develop and implement orientation programs and coordinate skills testing
