Job summary

LearnMore is seeking compassionate Faculty Instructors to train CNAs, with both RN and LVN pathways in California. You’ll prepare students through classroom, lab, and clinical instruction, guiding them toward successful California CNA certification.

Qualifications

• Active California RN license
• Minimum two years of nursing experience
• Meets California CDPH instructor qualifications
• Passion for education and mentorship
• Active California LVN license
• Minimum two years of nursing experience
• Meets California CDPH instructor qualifications
• Experience supervising CNAs preferred

Responsibilities

• Teach theory, laboratory skills, and/or clinical instruction
• Prepare students for the California CNA certification examination
• Mentor and encourage transitional age youth and adult learners from diverse backgrounds
• Evaluate student competency and provide constructive feedback
• Maintain attendance and required documentation
• Foster a positive, professional learning environment
• Work collaboratively with the RN Program Director and instructional team
• Ensure compliance with California Department of Public Health (CDPH) requirements
