Home Helpers Home Care of Olney is expanding its caregiver family in Silver Spring, MD. We are hiring kind, compassionate CNAs and GNAs that bring their passion to work, with support from owners, ongoing training, and opportunities for career growth.

Looking to staff a caregiver in Silver Spring on Saturdays and Sundays, from 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM and 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM for a split shift. The position pays $23 per hour and requires at least 3 years of caregiving experience, including experience

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification current.
• CNA license current.
• Valid driver's license with auto insurance.
• Reliable transportation to visits.
• Clear oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to understand care plans and assessments.
• Medical clearance incl. TB test.

Responsibilities

• Personal care (bathing, dressing, transfers).
• Meal preparation.
• Light housekeeping.
• Monitor and report physical/behavior changes.
• Medication reminders assistance.
• Assist with ambulation.
• Monitor BP and glucose levels.

Qualifications:

• Will need current CPR and First Aid Certification
• Current CNA license
• Must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have good oral and written communication skills
• Must be able to understand care plans and assessments
• Must have current doctor's medical health clearance to work which includes a negative TB Test
