CHRISTUS Health is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to support patient care in a nursing unit under the supervision of a registered nurse. The role involves routine patient care activities, clerical tasks, and ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout shifts.

Requirements include a CNA license, BLS certification, and a High School Diploma or equivalent. Previous acute care patient care experience is preferred; multiple shifts are available in a full-time capacity.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• CNA license in state of employment required.
• BLS required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge of patients.
• Prepare rooms for admission and ensure patient belongings accompany patient at discharge.
• Safely transport stable patients as required and respond to emergencies.
• Keep unit supplies organized and stock items maintained.
• Communicate effectively with the team and respond to calls and lights.
• Perform patient care tasks as directed by licensed staff while considering patient needs.
