Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC in North Carolina seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant II (CNA II) for the night shift. A $1,500 sign-on bonus is offered, and openings are available for full-time or part-time employees.

Night shift runs 6:45 pm to 7:15 am, with every-other-weekend scheduling for full-time staff. The role includes reporting changes to the nurse, assisting with daily living activities, administering medications per orders, taking vital signs, and documenting care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Licensed Certified Nursing Assistant II in NC required.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance coverage.
• CPR and first aid required.
• Pre-employment screening including background check and drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Report changes in residents' condition to the nurse immediately.
• Work with nurse and administration to ensure safety and health of residents.
• Record all entries accurately on flow sheets, notes, charts, etc.
• Measure vital signs and notify nurse of changes.
• Assist residents with dressing, hygiene and toileting.
• Administer medications and feedings via gastrostomy tube per orders and as delegated by nurses.
• Monitor oxygen administration and report findings to nurses.
• Perform colostomy care.
• Maintain confidentiality of care information and protect residents' rights.
• Assist with transporting residents to appointments and activities, and assist with lifting and transfers.
