Job summary

Lakewood Ranch Medical Center in Bradenton, FL is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for ICU with a full-time, day shift. You will assist with patient care, daily living activities, and general support under RN direction, while ensuring service excellence and patient satisfaction.

Qualified candidates have CNA certification, high school diploma, and current BLS. Prior unit secretary or EMT experience is a plus; CPI may be required within 6 months for ER roles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CNA certification required.
• Current BLS certification at start date.
• Previous experience as Unit Secretary, Nursing Assistant, Medic or EMT/Paramedic preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; basic computer skills required.
• CPI certification within 6 months for Emergency Room.

Job Overview

Qualifications

• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS at start date.
• CNA Certification required.
• Demonstrated track record for excellent communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills, and customer service skills required.
• For Emergency Room, CPI required within 6 months.
