Novant Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant I for weekend nights (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, 7pm-7am) in our assisted living units. The role provides patient assistance with activities of daily living, under the supervision of a registered nurse, and emphasizes safety and clean environments.

A High School Diploma or GED plus NA I certification and medication safety training are required. Experience in long-term care or assisted living is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience in assisted living preferred.
• Completion of NAI (Nurse Aide I) program required; listed with the nurse aide registry as an NA I.
• Medication Safety - AME required.
• NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions within 3 months of hire for ED and Behavioral Health units.

Responsabilités

• Assist residents with activities of daily living as scheduled and report changes to the Charge Nurse.
• Provide assistance and maintain a safe, clean environment under the direction of a registered nurse.
• Documentation and reporting of status changes and activities performed.
