Qualifications

  • Minimum one year experience as a CNA in an acute or long-term care setting.
  • Current unencumbered CNA certificate in the state of employment.

As a Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with Frontier Hospice, you will play a vital role in the lives of our patients, working under the guidance of a registered nurse to provide essential services and ensure their comfort and well-being. Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized care following the carefully crafted plan of care to ensure the comfort and well-being of our patients. Attend promptly to the requests of patients and their family/caregiver, offering compassionate support.
  • Assist with personal care needs, including bathing, oral hygiene, changing bedding, clothing, and shampooing, maintaining patient dignity and comfort.
  • Emphasize exceptional customer service, going above and beyond to ensure patient satisfaction.
  • Support families by sharing knowledge and offering guidance during this challenging time.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with agency and regulatory standards.
Minimum requirements
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Current unencumbered CNA certificate in the state of employment
  • Minimum one (1) year experience as a CNA in an acute or long-term care setting; hospice experience a plus
  • Current CPR certification if required by state
Compensation

$17.00 - $19.00 per hour (Average Pay Range). Final pay will be based on experience, qualifications, and responsibilities, discussed at the interview stage.
