CNA Home Health Aide (PER DIEM)

Masonicare Home Health & Hospice - Waterford area

* Daytime hours

Per Diem

**MUST have reliable transportation and flexible daytime availability. This position provides care in homes, apartments, assisted living facilities, skilled nursing facilities, etc., as assigned.**

Short (1-2 hr) and long cases (3 hrs+) are available.

The CNA Home Health Caregiver assists with personal care activities such as bathing, dressing, oral hygiene, hair/skin care, and feeding.

Other standard duties may include:

• Assisting with medication management by reminding clients to take medication as needed.
• Assisting clients with exercises, ambulation, and transfer activities.
• Performing household services essential for a clean, safe, and healthy environment, including meal preparation, laundry, and housekeeping to ensure sanitary and safe care at home.
• Providing basic emotional and psychological support to clients and household members.
• Assisting clients to physician, clinic, or other appointments.
• Accompanying patients on walks and social functions.
• Observing any changes in clients’ abilities and/or needs for safety issues and notifying the agency as appropriate.
• Documenting care and activities provided as per agency policy.

Requirements

• CNA Certification and license
• Valid driver's license in good standing with proof of auto insurance
• Previous caregiving experience is strongly preferred
