Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care seeks caring HHA/CNA professionals to support clients at home. You will provide personal care, household tasks, and companionship under RN guidance, helping adults remain safe and independent.

Flexible full‑time/part‑time shifts are available with matching opportunities near you. BAYADA offers ongoing training, 24/7 clinical support, PTO, and a strong team environment to support your success.

Qualifications

• One year of work experience required (not necessarily in home health).
• 75 hours or more RN-led home health training including CNA license or HHA program completion.
• Nursing student who has completed Med‑Surg 1 is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, household support, and companion care per written plan of care.
• Assist with activities of daily living and home management to help clients stay safe and independent.
• Support clients with meal prep, mobility, ROM exercises, and medication reminders.

What you’ll do:

Following a written plan of care by a registered nurse (RN), you’ll provide personal care, household support, and companion care (homemaker) services to help adults stay safe and independent at home.

As a BAYADA HHA/CNA, you’ll have the opportunity to develop close relationships with your clients while you help them with:

• Activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, etc.
• Household support: light housekeeping, laundry, bed making, etc.
• Meal preparation and feeding
• Range of motion/exercises
• Assisting with ambulation (Transfers/use of mechanical lifting devices)
• Medication reminders

Qualifications for HHA/CNA:

• Required - one year of work experience (does not have to be in home health)
• 75 hours or more of RN led home health training including:
  • CNA license or proof of completion of a CNA program

  • Nursing student who has completed Med‑Surg 1
