Job summary

Cape Senior Home Healthcare in Bourne, MA is seeking kind and compassionate Home Health Aides (HHA) to join our professional team. You will assist patients with daily tasks in-home care and across settings, delivering respectful, person-centered care to support independence and comfort.

You will help with bathing, dressing, meal preparation, mobility, medication reminders, and vitals monitoring while communicating with nursing staff.

Qualifications

• CNA/HHA certification required.
• Dementia care experience preferred to support patient needs.
• HIPAA familiarity to protect patient privacy.
• BLS certification highly desirable.
• Compassionate, patient-centered communication and teamwork are essential.
• Ability to document patient care accurately in electronic health records.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Meal preparation according to dietary restrictions.
• Assist with transportation for errands and doctor visits.
• Provide emotional support and companionship.
• Maintain a clean and safe patient environment.
• Monitor and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, blood pressure).
• Assist with mobility and patient transport within care settings.
• Communicate patient needs and condition changes to nursing staff.
