Altra Home Health in Indiana is seeking compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide essential personal care in patients' homes. You will assist with daily activities, monitor health, and support safety and comfort under supervision.

Requirements include being at least 18, valid driver’s license with auto insurance, CPR certification, and 1 year of relevant experience preferred. A flexible schedule and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance required.
• Preferred: at least 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Ability to read, follow written instructions, and accurately document care provided.
• Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) may be hired as Home Health Aides and will perform the same essential job functions.

Responsabilités

• Assist with patient laundry when needed.
• Provide friendly medication reminders.
• Help ensure patient safety at all times.
• Promptly report significant changes in a patient's condition to their supervisor.
• Prepare light meals and assist with feeding when required.
• Monitor and record patient temperature.
• Support patients with ambulation.
• Guide patients through range of motion exercises and other simple physical activities.
• Keep thorough documentation and follow all care protocols.
• Uphold privacy policies and infection control guidelines.
• Offer hands-on bathing assistance.
• Handle light housekeeping tasks.
• Provide meaningful companionship, including letter-writing and reading.
