VCU Health at Home by BAYADA is seeking a compassionate Part Time Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) to join our team in Richmond, VA. This per-visit position serves adult and geriatric clients, requiring a Virginia CNA license and the ability to work in the Richmond area.

Home health experience is preferred but not required; the role emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and delivering compassionate in-home care to maintain independence and safety for clients.

Qualifications

• Have at least one year of work experience.
• Must be listed on the VA Nurse Aide Registry, active and in good standing.
• Must hold a Virginia CNA license.
• Pass the BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination.
• Criminal background check completed.
• Meet all state requirements.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

Responsabilités

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental tasks.
• Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, and ambulation.
• Monitor vital signs and support with basic medical tasks.
• Provide medication assistance as directed.
• Support home management tasks (laundry, bed making, etc.).

VCU Health at Home by BAYADA is looking for compassionate and dedicated Part Time Certified Nursing Aide/ CNA to join our team in Richmond, VA. This office services our adult and geriatric clients on a per visit basis in territories throughout Richmond, VA. Must be a Virginia licensed CNA!

Home health experience not required, but preferred!

A Home Health Aide / Certified Nurse Aide must:

• Have at least one year of work experience
• Must be listed on the VA Nurse Aide Registry, active and in good standing.
• Demonstrate an ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English
• Pass the BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination
• Have a criminal background check completed
• Meet all state requirements

Job Responsibilities for HHA – Home Health Aides / CNA - Certified Nurse Aide :

• Activities of daily living
• Light housekeeping
• Bathing
• Grooming
• Toileting
• Nail care
• Range of motion / exercises
• Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices
• Oral feeding
• Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
• Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.
• Assisting with ambulation
• Medication assistance
