Interim HealthCare of Augusta is seeking a warm, capable Certified Nursing Assistant to care for a gentleman living with ALS in Kittery, ME. This part-time role features one-on-one, in-home care focused on comfort, dignity, and reliable companionship.

You'll work with a predictable schedule (Weds 4-7 PM, Thurs 7 AM-7 PM, Fri 7 AM-11 AM) at $25/hour, with CPR being a plus. Prior ALS experience is a huge plus but a strong, teachable attitude counts too.

Qualifications

• Active Maine CNA certification is required.
• Experience with ALS or neurological conditions is a plus.
• Reliable transportation and availability for the schedule above.
• CPR certification is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Light housekeeping to maintain comfort.
• Assist with mobility and transfers.
• Provide warm, compassionate one-on-one care.

Looking for a part-time gig where you'll actually make a difference? We're looking for a warm, capable CNA to join our care team for a wonderful gentleman living with ALS in Kittery. He needs a helping hand around the house - and honestly, a familiar friendly face he can count on each week.

Your schedule (predictable & consistent!):

• Wednesdays: 4-7 PM
• Thursdays: 7 AM-7 PM
• Fridays: 7 AM-11 AM

What you'll be doing:

• Helping with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming)
• Whipping up meals and helping with feeding as needed
• Light housekeeping to keep things comfortable
• Assisting with mobility and transfers
• Being a genuine, caring presence - not just a task-doer

What we're hoping you bring:

• Active Maine CNA certification
• Experience with ALS or other neurological conditions (huge plus, but not a deal breaker if you're a fast learner with a great attitude)
• Reliable transportation and availability for the schedule above
• Patience, warmth, and a steady hand
• CPR certification (nice to have)
