VibraLife Mechanicsburg, part of VibraHealthcare, is hosting a CNA Hiring Event at 707 Shepherdstown Road, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055. Full Time Day or Night Shifts available with 12 hour rotations.

The CNA provides assistance with activities of daily living, maintains a safe environment and follows infection control standards. Applicants should have a high school diploma and a valid PA CNA certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of experience as a Nurse Aide or relevant care experience preferred.
• Current, valid CNA certification in the state of employment required.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed nursing personnel with ADLs and document activities of daily living.
• Provide a clean, safe environment and practice infection control procedures.

VibraLife is a Rehabilitation Center and Senior Living Community comprised of a short-term rehabilitation/skilled nursing facility as well as an assisted living unit. Located in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, Vibralife is a beautiful, one-story, state-of-the-art facility that includes the Vibra Rehabilitation Center and Vibra Senior Living. Expertly designed to address comprehensive care and living needs post injury or illness, VibraLife delivers a fully integrated care continuum for both patients and residents.

Responsibilities

The CNA provides assistance to licensed nursing personnel in the provision of patient care by providing and documenting activities of daily living, including personal hygiene and grooming, and providing a clean, healthy and safe environment. Utilizes basic infection control procedures, basic nutrition and fluid intake skills. Recognizes emergency situations and responds.

Required Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two (2) years of experience as a Nurse Aide or other relevant experience in lieu of education will be considered.
• Current, valid, and active certification to practice as a Nursing Assistant as applicable in the state of employment required.

Additional Qualifications/Skills:

• Acute care/LTAC experience preferred.
• Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
