Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires ND CNA certification or completion of ND state approved CNA training and certification within 120 days of hire.
• Able to perform basic mathematical equations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to support resident independence and safety.

Responsibilities

• Encourage and support residents in making personal choices and encourage independence.
• Understand and follow basic concepts of infection control.
• Maintain safety standards and use safe operating procedures.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed.
• Communicate effectively with residents and health care team.
• Respect residents' rights, privacy, and dignity.
• Respond to call lights promptly and courteously.
• Adapt the environment to resident needs (light, temperature, noise, etc.).
