Job summary

Interim HealthCare of Sarasota County is seeking a CNA/Home Health Caregiver to provide one-on-one in-home care for seniors. You will assist with daily living activities, mobility, medication reminders, and companionship, helping clients maintain independence.

We offer weekday and weekend shifts, a competitive hourly rate, and online CEU training to grow your skills. A high school diploma, CPR, and a valid driver’s license are preferred requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent).
• Six months of experience in a healthcare role preferred.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to seniors in their homes.
• Assist with activities of daily living and light housekeeping.
• Assist with ambulation, transferring, and ROM exercises.
• Provide medication reminders and document client condition for supervisor.
• Maintain a safe home environment and engage clients in activities.

CNA/Home Health Caregiver

Weekday and Weekend Shifts Available:

Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 8:00 am - 8:00 pm

Thursday: 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Saturday: 2:00 pm - 8:00 pm

We are looking for a dedicated and empathetic CNA/HHA to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential one-on-one care to individuals in the comfort of their own homes, helping them maintain their independence. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who enjoys the company of, and caring for others. Must be able to communicate effectively and have some experience working with dementia.

As a Home Health Care Provider, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:

• Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises
• Provide medication reminders, document their condition and notify a supervisor of any concerns
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies

A few must-haves for Home Health Caregivers:

• High school diploma (or equivalent)
• Six (6) months of experience in a healthcare role, preferred
• CPR certification
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and transportation
• Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
