Responsibilities

Job Summary: The Home and Community-Based Services Aide provides support, assistance with personal hygiene, and household functions to help individuals remain in their own homes.

Specific Duties:

• Report observations of the client's condition to the Agency Director or accounts manager. Notify immediately of incidents or accidents.
• Drive safely, comply with traffic regulations, and wear a seat belt during business travel.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, hair care, oral care, nail care, skin care, and transfers between bed, chair, wheelchair, bedpan, or toilet.
• Assist with household tasks directly related to personal care.

Education and Experience

• Experience Desired: Six months of home care experience preferred.
• Skill Requirements: Ability to work flexible hours, function in diverse home situations, work independently, multitask, communicate effectively, and maintain confidentiality. Must align with the organization's goals and adapt to organizational changes.
