Responsibilities

Job Summary

The Home and Community Based Services Aide provides support, assistance with personal hygiene, and household functions, enabling individuals to remain in their own homes.

Specific Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Report observations of the client's condition to the Agency Director or accounts manager. Notify immediately of incidents or accidents.
• Drive safely, comply with traffic laws, and wear a seat belt during travel.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, hair care, oral care, nail care, skin care, and transfers.
• Assist with household tasks essential to the client's personal care.

Education and Experience

Experience Desired

• Six months of home care experience preferred.

• Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
• Ability to work in diverse home situations.
• Ability to work independently.
• Multi-tasking, self-direction, good time management, courteousness, and common sense.
