Right at Home East Bay is hiring compassionate CNAs and HHAs to deliver skilled in-home care for seniors across Contra Costa, Alameda, and San Joaquin counties, including Pleasanton and surrounding communities. Qualifications

• Valid CNA or HHA certification
• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Read, write, speak, and understand English
• Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance
• Able to lift/move 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation
• Register with the State of California as a Home Care Aide (HCA)
• Pass a state Live Scan background check and TB test
• Eligible to work in the United States and provide employment eligibility verification

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and hygiene
• Assist with mobility, transfers, positioning, and fall prevention
• Deliver specialty care for conditions like dementia, Parkinson’s, stroke
• Provide medication reminders and monitoring
• Observe and report changes in a client’s condition to the care team
• Assist with meal planning and preparation, including special diets
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Offer companionship and social engagement, including walks and outings
• Transport clients to appointments and run errands
