Job summary

Altra Homecare Group is hiring compassionate CNAs and HHAs to provide in-home personal care tailored to each patient’s needs in Indiana. You will assist with daily activities, medication reminders, safety checks, and documentation while building trusted relationships with patients and families.

The role emphasizes flexibility with a patient-first approach, adherence to policies, and ongoing training. Candidates with CPR certification and TB testing are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Possess a valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance.
• Ability to read, follow written instructions, and document care provided.
• Comply with training requirements as per State and Federal laws.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient laundry when necessary.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Ensure patient safety.
• Report significant changes in the patient's condition directly to their supervisor.
• Prepare light meals and assist with patient feeding when required.
• Monitor and record patient temperature.
• Assist patients with ambulation.
• Conduct range of motion exercises and other simple physical activities.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and adhere to care protocols.
• Follow privacy policies and infection control guidelines.
• Offer bathing assistance.
• Perform light housekeeping.
• Provide companion services, including letter-writing and reading.
