Job summary

Senior Helpers West Jacksonville is seeking compassionate caregivers to support clients in their homes across Orange Park and surrounding areas. The role focuses on assisting with daily living activities, meals, mobility, and social engagement, with emphasis on dignity and respect for clients.

Ongoing training and a supportive team environment are provided. Competitive pay is offered based on experience and role (Caregiver, CNA, or HHA).

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months caregiving experience preferred.
• CNA or HHA certification welcomed.
• Current in-person CPR certification required.
• Passion for helping others and serving the community.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a Level II background screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily living assistance and support to clients.
• Engage clients with meaningful conversations and activities.
• Participate in clients’ hobbies and preferences.
• Prepare meals and assist with nutrition.
• Assist with walking, dressing, bathing, and other activities of daily living.
• Document activities and report updates on clients’ physical condition and behavior.
