Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise is hiring a CNA/Nursing Assistant/Nurse Apprentice for the Heart & Vascular Step Down Unit. The unit is a 16-bed area located at the Regional Medical Center off I-184 and Curtis Rd.

The role involves caring for post-operative heart surgery patients and supporting a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with strong leadership and growth opportunities. The schedule is 3 twelve-hour day shifts per week from 7am to 7:30pm, with a varied schedule

Qualifications

• Current Idaho CNA certification or Nurse Apprentice application on file with Idaho State Board of Nursing.
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification required at hire.
• Six months CNA experience in acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and personal support under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Assist with clerical tasks and patient service coordination at unit level.
