Acti-Kare Responsive In-Home Care in Shoreline, WA is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to provide personalized in-home care for a client. You will support daily living activities, maintain comfort, dignity, independence, and quality of life.

This role offers daytime hours on varied days, roughly 5 days per week between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM. You will follow the care plan, communicate with family and care team, and work independently while ensuring a safe environment.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license and car insurance.
• CPR certification preferred/required as applicable.
• Ability to work independently and follow established care plans.
• Strong communication, time-management, and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability to perform caregiving tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care, hygiene, bathing, dressing, and mobility.
• Assist with ambulation and mobility inside and outside the home.
• Prepare and serve meals while following dietary requirements.
• Provide medication reminders as directed.
• Assist clients with prescribed exercises and recommended activities.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks that the client is unable to complete independently.
• Assist with shopping or accompany clients on errands when needed.
• Monitor and communicate changes in the client's condition or behavior.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, nurses, and other members of the care team.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
• Respond appropriately and responsibly to emergencies or unusual situations.

Acti-Kare Responsive In-Home Care is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and caring Caregiver to provide personalized in-home care for a client in Shoreline, WA. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in helping others maintain their comfort, dignity, independence, and quality of life.

Schedule

Various days, approximately 5 days per week
Hours between 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Compensation

$21.00–$23.00 per hour, based on experience and assignment

Requirements

• Knowledge of basic housekeeping and meal preparation, including dietary considerations.
• Strong communication, time-management, and interpersonal skills.
• Physical ability and endurance to perform required caregiving tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Successful completion of a background check and reference verification.
