Job summary

Bradford Heights is seeking a caring and dependable CNA to join our vibrant long-term care community. You will attend to residents' daily needs including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating to support comfort and independence.

You will record vital signs, assist with lifting and moving residents using proper body mechanics, and report changes to the nurse manager while communicating respectfully with residents, families, peers, and supervisors.

Qualifications

• At least one year of CNA experience in long-term care is highly preferred.
• Must possess and maintain a current state CNA certification.
• Knowledge of MatrixCare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
• Record patient vital signs, lifting, moving, and transporting residents, using proper body mechanics.
• Recognize and report changes in resident conditions to a nurse manager; ask appropriate questions.
• Communicate and interact effectively and tactfully with residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors.
• Report abnormal changes or patterns to nursing staff.
• Demonstrate the ability to assist the nurse with various duties as directed.
