Job summary

Covenant Living at the Holmstad in Batavia, IL is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for a full-time, day shift role. The CNA will provide direct resident care, assist with activities of daily living, and support dining services while upholding cleanliness and comfort in residents' rooms.

Ideal candidates hold a State nursing assistant program completion, are listed on the State Registry, and meet educational requirements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or the equivalent.
• Completion and passing of an approved Nursing Assistant program in the State.
• Listed on the State Health Nursing Assistant Registry.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care to residents on a daily basis.
• Assist with activities, light housekeeping, laundry and dining services.
• Prepare residents for meals and assist with serving meals and feeding.
• Maintain resident rooms in a clean and orderly manner; change linen, tidy spaces and bathrooms.
• Assist with resident laundry and notify supervisor of clothing needs.

Education
