Job summary

Right at Home in Florida seeks CNAs to join a dedicated in-home care team providing clinical expertise to clients in their homes. You will perform personal care, assist with daily activities, and support mobility and medication reminders, while delivering compassionate, respectful care tailored to each client’s needs.

Requirements include a CNA license or HHA certification, 2+ years’ elderly care experience, and a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience with the elderly or frail population.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle with insurance.
• Pass drug test and criminal background check.
• TB test or Chest X-ray required.
• CNA License or HHA Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care activities to assist with activities of daily living.
• Perform patient-specific activities including medication reminders and ROM support.
• Assist with meals, errands, light housekeeping, and mobility.
• Support hospice care and blood glucose monitoring as needed.
• Use lifting equipment safely and manage incontinence care.

Essential Functions

Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living. These could include (but are not limited to):

• Personal Hygiene
• Ambulation/Transfers
• Dressing/Shaving
• Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions
• Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments
• Performs light housekeeping activities

Performs patient-specific activities. These could include (but are not limited to):

• Providing hospice supportive care
• Medication reminders
• Assisting with the prescribed range of motion exercises
• Assisting with blood glucose monitoring
• Care of bed-bound patients
• Incontinence care
• Use lifting equipment such as gait belts and Hoyer lifts

Preferred Experience In

What We Require

• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle with insurance.

Compensation: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
