Job summary

Right at Home Morgantown & Wheeling is seeking CNAs to join our in-home care team, delivering clinical-grade support in the comfort of patients' homes. You will participate in personal care, mobility support, meal prep, errands, and light housekeeping to enhance daily living.

Qualifications

• Must be current licensed CNA/STNA/HHA.
• Experience in personal care preferred.
• Strong patient care and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (hygiene, dressing, eating).
• Prepare meals and snacks per instructions and assist with errands/appointments.
• Perform light housekeeping and supportive care tasks as taught by a nurse.
• Provide hospice supportive care including reminders and ROM assistance.
• Use lifting devices and monitor patient comfort and safety.

• Pay is hourly from 9.50 to 13.00 (for current licensed CNA/STNA/HHA skilled care)

Essential Functions:

Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living. These could include (but are not limited to):

Personal Hygiene

• Ambulation/Transfers
• Dressing/Shaving
• Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions
• Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments
• Performs light housekeeping activities

Performs patient-specific activities that are taught by a Right at Home nurse. These could include (but are not limited to):

Providing hospice supportive care

• Medication reminders
• Assisting with the prescribed range of motion exercises
• Assisting with blood glucose monitoring
• Care of bed-bound patients
• Incontinence care
• Use lifting equipment such as gait belts and Hoyer lifts

Preferred Experience in:

• Personal care
• Range of Motion Exercises
• Companionship
• Light cleaning

Compensation:

11.50 to 14.00
