Job summary

Acacia Health Center in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for full-time daytime shifts. Starting pay ranges from $19.00 to $24.00 per hour, based on license date, with a 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM schedule across Mon/Tue/Thu.

You will provide direct resident care, take vitals, assist with daily activities, and help maintain a safe, clean and compassionate care environment for our senior residents in a resort-style setting near NE Phoenix.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an approved nursing assistant training program.
• Current Arizona CNA license required.
• Valid CPR Certification with BLS and AED training.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and document care.
• Physical ability to lift/carry up to 20 lbs, stand, reach, and assist with resident transfers (up to 125 lbs).
• Flu vaccine required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and assist residents with daily activities, including taking vitals and administering treatments.
• Answering call lights
• Changing linens
• Keeping resident rooms tidy
• Maintaining safe and sanitary work conditions
