Job summary

Acacia Health Center in Phoenix, AZ, is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a full-time day shift. You will provide direct resident care, take vitals, assist with daily activities, answer call lights, and help keep rooms clean and safe, while treating residents with compassion.

Starting pay is $19.00–$24.00 per hour (based on license date). Schedule: 6:00 AM–6:00 PM, three days per week (Mon, Tue, Thu). You must have a valid Arizona CNA license, CPR/BLS, and be vaccinated for flu.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an approved nursing assistant training program.
• Arizona CNA license required.
• CPR certification with BLS and AED training.
• Flu vaccine required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and assist residents with daily activities and vitals.
• Answer call lights and respond promptly to resident needs.
• Change linens and keep resident rooms tidy and safe.
• Maintain safe and sanitary work conditions.
• Assist with transfers and positioning of residents.
• Deliver care with warmth, compassion and professionalism.

Who you are:

• Successful completion of an approved nursing assistant training program
• Current Arizona CNA license required
• Valid CPR Certification with BLS and AED training
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and document care
• Physical ability to lift/carry up to 20 lbs, stand, reach, and assist with resident transfers (up to 125 lbs) and push residents in wheelchairs or shower chairs
• Someone who provides high levels of customer care with compassion and heart
• Flu vaccine required
