Job summary

Theuniversityunion is seeking a CNA for a part-time to full-time position in Manchester, IA. This role provides direct patient care in the Medical Surgical/ICU areas and supports patient-related housekeeping, with day/night rotations and holiday coverage.

You will document vital signs, assist with mobility, feeding and hygiene, and collaborate with nurses and staff to maintain safety and comfort. Active Iowa Direct Care Worker Registry and BLS are required; training on patient safety is provided.

Qualifications

• Active on Iowa Direct Care Worker Registry.
• BLS Certification.
• Child and Dependent Adult Mandatory Reporter Training completed.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients in Medical Surgical/ICU.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, feeding and toileting.
• Obtain and document vital signs, I/O, weights and meal intake.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers and turning in bed.
• Communicate patient needs to nursing staff and families.
• Support infection control and safety practices.
