MaineGeneral Health, Alfond Center for Health in Augusta, seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our 30-hour-per-week night shift float pool. The role provides patient care under RN supervision, assisting with basic needs and maintaining a compassionate presence for patients and families.

As part of the team, you will greet patients, support nurses, document changes, and help keep the unit stocked and orderly while upholding our mission to care for the community.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid CNA certificate from the State of Maine.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic patient care activities within the scope of practice.
• Greets patients and visitors; answers and routes calls; reports changes to nursing staff.
• Keeps unit and patient rooms stocked, clean, and orderly.
