Central Maine Healthcare is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Central Staffing team!

Up to $5,000 sign on bonus available!*

This is a Full Time, benefits eligible position on the day shift.

Position Summary:

The CNA provides direct and indirect patient care under the direction of a RN or physician. Assists patients with activities of daily living, provides for personal care, emotional support and performs more complex clinical skills under the direction of a RN.

Education and Experience:

  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant Certification in the State of Maine required
  • Active on the State of Maine CNA registry required
  • Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS within 6 months of hire required
  • 1 year of continuous CNA experience preferred
  • High School graduate or equivalent preferred

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, provides for personal care and comfort.
  • Communicate with providers and team members about changes in patient's clinical condition and needs of the patient’s family.
  • Provide direct and indirect patient care services that meets the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care.
  • Provide care that reflects initiative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
