Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Current NJ Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow care plans.
• Must meet health requirements including TB test and physical.
• Compassion, patience and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a care team.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily care to residents including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting and mobility support.
• Serve meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Respond promptly to call lights and resident requests.
• Monitor resident health and report changes to nursing staff.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and assist with transporting residents to activities or appointments.
• Accurately document care provided and follow infection control guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members to provide resident-centered care.
