Job summary
Apploi in New Jersey is seeking a dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our care team. Must hold an active NJ CNA certification or reciprocity, with CPR/BLS and a high school diploma. Daily attendance, professionalism and good communication are essential.
Shifts run 7 AM-3 PM and 3 PM-11 PM with occasional extra shifts. Sign-on bonus for full-time, daily pay available. Responsibilities include assisting residents with daily living, documenting care, and supporting nurses.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the state.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Must have no disciplinary action in effect against certification.
- At least one year of experience as a CNA in sub-acute/long-term care preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provides supportive services to nurses and other staff as needed.
- Assists residents with activities of daily living per care plans.
- Assists with lifting, turning, moving and positioning residents.
- Coordinates dining room services during meals and documents intake.
- Deliver nutritional supplements and track intake.
- Record weights and report changes to nurse/supervisor.
- Monitor skin condition and report issues to staff.
- Carry out toileting program activities with nursing staff.
- Complete flow sheets daily and communicate any changes.
