Job summary

HCF in Findlay, OH is seeking a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) or Certified Nursing Assistant for full-time or part-time roles on the 2nd and 3rd shift. You will provide direct patient care under licensed supervision at our Findlay location.

The role requires compassion, dependability and teamwork. A high school diploma is preferred; certification training must be completed within four months of hire. Promotions and education opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• STNA or CNA certification required or must pass state-approved training and competency exam within four months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, transferring, hygiene, and ambulation.
• Follow HCF policies and procedures.
• Meet job-related competencies as outlined for STNA/CNA.
• Answer call lights promptly.
• Document care provided.
• Refer to and follow resident care plans.
• Report any abnormal findings or unsafe conditions.
