Job summary

Cantex is actively seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) PRN to join our healthcare team. In this role you will provide hands-on patient care, assist with ADLs, and contribute to patient safety, comfort, and dignity in a skilled nursing setting.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification required.
• Ability to lift, move, and transfer patients safely.
• Strong teamwork and patient-first mindset.
• English language proficiency (read, write, speak).

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Assist with patient transfers, ambulation, and repositioning using safe lifting techniques.
• Monitor, observe, and report changes in patient condition to the Charge Nurse.
• Accurately document patient care and daily activities per regulations.
• Support and follow individualized care plans to improve patient outcomes.
• Maintain a clean, safe, infection-controlled environment.
• Ensure equipment is clean, charged, and functioning properly.
• Participate in shift handoffs and team communication.
