Job summary

Walter Reed Post Acute is hiring CNAs to join a compassionate care team. We offer full-time and part-time opportunities with day and evening shifts, with a shift differential and daily pay. There is an option to add $3/hr to base salary if benefits are waived (FT only) and an employee referral bonus.

Responsibilities include assisting residents with activities of daily living, reporting changes to licensed staff, and maintaining a safe, dignified environment. CNA license and BLS/CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current, active CNA license in the state of employment.
• Valid BLS/CPR certification required.
• Ability to work effectively with multiple residents in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment.
• Demonstrated compassion and commitment to high-quality resident care.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic resident care under supervision of licensed nursing staff.
• Assist residents with ADLs including feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and changing linens.
• Provide supportive care to meet residents’ physical, emotional, and daily living needs.
• Observe residents and report changes in condition to nursing staff promptly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
• Support nursing staff in delivering high-quality, resident-centered care.
