Job summary

Good Samaritan is a not-for-profit organization providing housing and services to seniors in a Christian environment. The Nursing Assistant (NA) delivers resident-centered care under RN supervision, assisting with daily living activities, transfers, vital signs, and meals, with a focus on infection control and safety.

The role offers varied shifts with a flex schedule, several shift differentials, and a $10,000 sign-on bonus for eligible full-time or part-time positions.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16.
• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• CNA certification required within four months of start date.
• Maintains annual continuing education as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care under RN supervision.
• Assist with daily living activities and personal care tasks.
• Assist with transferring, repositioning, and ambulation using proper techniques.
• Record vital signs and communicate changes to the charge nurse.
• Assist with meals and dining to create a positive dining experience.
