Job summary

PureHealth in Texas City is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join a dedicated nursing team. The CNA will provide quality patient care, assist with daily activities, document care in real time, and support shift objectives to improve efficiency and satisfaction.

Required are a CNA certification, valid license, BLS/CPR, and a High School Diploma or equivalent. Opportunities exist across full-time, part-time, and PRN 8-hour shifts with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Must have successful completion of a state approved Nursing Assistant Certification course.
• Valid state CNA license.
• Current BLS (CPR) certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide and assist with physical care of patients including bathing, oral hygiene, grooming, toileting, transfers and mobility.
• Document patient care and observations in real time.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to the licensed nurse promptly.
• Assist in dining by preparing residents for meals, serving trays, and feeding.
• Transport patients to scheduled therapies as needed.
• Maintain infection control practices and ensure patient safety and comfort.
